For an even more immersive experience and unique comfort, Agriturismo La Grotta features an outdoor swimming pool.

Always mindful of environmental respect and dedicated to the beauty and pleasure of pampering you, the pool was built with a fine local stone border and a light-colored floor to achieve a softer visual effect of the water, in harmony with the colors of the Pisan Mountains and your relaxation.

The pool measures 15 meters in length by 6 meters in width, set into a terrace of the estate, and includes a 5-square-meter area where the water is 20 centimeters deep: like an idyllic beach immersed in the tranquility of the countryside. Ideal for relaxing, but also for allowing your children to play in total safety.

Buried alongside the pool is a rainwater cistern, an ancient collection method that allows for the irrigation of the vines, olive trees, and the vegetable garden without wasting public water.

The pool area is elegantly adorned with statues, and its location within the olive grove offers an enchanting view. And for ultimate comfort and enjoyment, a barbecue area and a gazebo equipped with a refrigerator, drinking water, and two gas burners!

or this reason, the swimming pool at Azienda Agricola La Grotta is equipped with a salt-based cleaning and disinfection system. An innovative method that follows, as always, the good habits of nature—in this case, the sea. With saltwater, hygiene is guaranteed without affecting the water’s biology through the use of substances such as chlorine, which are partially toxic (the presence of isocyanurate as a disinfectant within the chemical composition of chlorine-based products confirms this) for humans and animals, and extremely polluting for the pure, potable aquifers beneath Monte Pisano.

The result is perfect disinfection and purification of the pool, the mineral and immersive comfort of saltwater, and, once again, harmony between our technologies and the land that hosts us.
